About Us

MTSS opened its doors in 1999 and has been serving the needs of Middle Tennessee in all areas of diving. We train approximately 300 new divers per year as well as about 250 advanced and specialty courses per year. We have had approximately 50 divers complete the prestigious PADI Master Scuba Diver challenge and have had 7 of our students progress from Basic Open Water to a professional Instructor rating.

MTSS is recognized nationally as one of the top dive centers in the United States. Our students have an excellent dive safety record, and our customer satisfaction rating is unexcelled, as evidenced by the fact that most of our new customers come to us through customer referrals.

Our in-house travel program hosts over 200 divers per year to dive locations worldwide. Many of our customers are repeat travelers who join us on multiple trips each year.

In addition to scuba, we offer a wide range of swim and scuba theme parties for all ages, and swim lessons for all ages.
